Have a broken deck? I'm looking for Moon cards

AJ

for a project I'm working on...I tried photocopies and they just don't cut it, look too cheesy. If you have a broken deck could I beg the moon card off of it? I need about 2 dozen different moons. Fat chance I know ;) but it doesn't hurt to ask.

What about taking a picture and printing it out at walgreens or something?

Hi sherry, I thought about that, and I also thought about just scanning and printing some on photo paper...but those options just didn't seem to do justice to the intent of my project. The card stock and the deck size will be part of the authenticity of whatever I come up with. And I haven't got scanner or paper here.

I'm headed home for a few minutes and will grab the supplies I need to work with. I'm in a weird life situation. Living in a (beautiful) 5th wheel while I care for my in-laws and their farm. So my space for creating is small...but just right for tarot cards. I don't know how many more months I'll be here but far to long to just sit twiddling my thumbs artistically.

Briar Rose, as proper thank you is in the snail mail. You are tops in my book, thank you.

Since I am mutilating decks for my tarot notebooks. I can pull the moon card from 3 different decks for you. Just pm me your address.

Thank you Sherri.
I thought I took my time gathering materials, but I got 1/2 way back to the farm and realized I didn't even think about wire and a pair of needle nose pliers.

I did bring 3 freebie casino decks to practice gilding on ah la Shadowdancer's thread so I'll have some practice cards to try my Moon card techniques on. Win a few loose a few :)

Thanks again.

Can't wait to see what you make!

Hmm... I've copied cards before and the result is exactly as good as the effort you put into it. On good card stock with a professional copier you can't tell the copy from the original. I'm serious. I mounted and framed seventeen Strength cards and it looks fantastic. if you need some copies to make up your numbers I'm friends with the lovely folks at my local kinkos...
