Sadly I am presently too lazy to take a photo, but...

I have a polished stone that is purple and opaque (not amethyst) and possibly a little glittery under the polishing. Any idea what it might be? I know it was labelled at the store, but my mind has gone to mush! I love it...but not sure which one it is or what it can be used for!!

Sugilite, charoite and lepidolite are all the purple, opaque stones I can think of at the moment.

Flourite is purple sometimes.

Definitely a very nice lepidolite! One of the most soothing, calming stones I know of (has lithium in it). The sparkle is from mica I believe. Congrats on such a lovely addition to your crystal family!:D

Lovely!!! Thank you, so much! That is certainly it! I bought 6. lol :D I love them. I have a few in a bag and 2 around my Kwan Yin, right here at the computer table. Plus, I put one on my beside table. I love them and these are rather large polished stones, so I am very pleased!!
