The images look fab; and i do like these backs best of all...even with the deck title; because as Lady Z mentioned, it is subtle and unobtrusive. Getting quite excited!

I LOVE the backs and I love the border on these individual cards as well. And, will, the cards themselves are quite cute too. I also cannot wait till this deck is available. Maybe I'll even drive out to our favorite save a hound home and show them your incredible deck when I get mine to see if they'd like to include it in their little gift shop.

I have never heard that this applies to cats - but it might, especially considering the reputation of the black cat ....however, there are always those who love black cats!

Lyn, I agreed with whoever it was who suggested a plain card back, maybe with a geometric design - but if I had to choose, I like the last one you did!

Bhavana, the backs will be the last version 5 ...for sure...as it goes so well with ALL the cards
and their varied coloring. i think having a 'Medieval castle' on the back is perfect for the deck.

Animal shelters stop adopting out black cats about a week before Halloween because they believe some people adopt those cats and then kill them.

That is also what I read...I heard that some "Chrisitians" (don't remember which denomination) might still be against black cats viewing them as evil, satanic creatures just like Christians did during Middle Ages. Back then, so many were unfortunately massacred...the innocent victims of a religious frenzy.

One of my kitty is a black cat, she came to my place as a starving kitten, she is a year old now, very pretty and she is such a sweet, affectionate cat!

I can't comprehend how some people can be so cruel with animals.

Hon, you know, i just don't get it either...all i can imagine is that they are so cold hearted
and have no compassion...definitely NOT on any kind of Spiritual path.




@everyone...regarding ordering deck...
i just realized that Mercury is retrograde (from July 15th through Auguwst 8th)...
...that explains why my very expensive 'rhinestone' Birkinstock sandals (2 pairs) that i ordered
online (forgot it was retrograde!)...ended up in Colorado instead of at my house!!! They are
now being remailed to me...from the person in Colorade...YIKES...Mercury Retrograde!

However:
This is excellent for me for going back and editing the deck. However i don't want
to actually sell or especially 'mail' the deck during the retrograde. So...with this
Mercury retrograde period in mind, i will start taking 'orders' for the Chi deck on
August 9th, and then from there i have to order the deck in bul. It will take up to
about 2 weeks for me to get them back from the printers. Then i will be mailing out
the individual decks to everyone. Everyone should have their deck before the end of August.

Re: price
i would like to hear everyone's thoughts on pricing?.. i know that 36 card Lenormand decks
are going for around $20 + shipping... and this deck has twice as many cards...

So...what do you all think would be a good retail price? i want to bring the most i can to the rescues,
BUT i don't want to overprice this deck either. i would hope that anyone that comments is
not thinking just of themselves and what they will have to pay for the deck as this is bigger than that overall...
...and into the future for future sales is what i am looking at...

..now i have a couple of questions...

In the beginning of this project...critique was fairly quiet concerning the following two cards...

So i am putting them up again and comparing them to each other...

Here is what i need to know:


The Tower card...without lightening? or with lightening?

...i have been working a good part of the day on Pinto's Fool card...revamping and am not
quite there yet with where i want to go with it...but should have it done soon...

i only have about 14 more cards to edit...and would have been done today, but decided
to work on Pinto's card as it is the first in the deck. And one of the reasons i didn't choose
the fool card for the calendar is that i knew i wanted to change some things on it and it
is taking me quite awhile...will show you later tonight...

I mostly have the Wands suit to go and there is not too much editing with them
...and there is one other card that i will revamp...but i am so much closer to my goal today!

i feel like i went through a knot hole today...but it is okay now...whew!
wow...i wasted so much time today on cute little Pinto's card...YIKES...
i really want him to stand out since he is 'the leader of the pack'...LOL

So i finally got it close to where is wanted the card...and drats if my software didn't decide
to crash on me!!! i kid you not!!! eeekkkk i lost hours of work on that card...BUT...

You know when my Spirits want their own way, weird things happen to my work!!! It just
disappears in a flash!!! So, i had to go back the original card, and then it only took me less
than 5 minutes to do what i wanted to in the first place ROFLMAS...ha ha...they do have a sense of humor!!!

So, below is Pinto anew...and i think you will really love him now:

He is much bigger and i tweaked the whole card so it should be a little more colorful too...

Isn't he better being bigger? LOL...that was a mouth full...Ha Ha.. He now matches the rest of the Chi sizes in the deck

...so do you like version 1 (smaller) or version 2 (Pinto larger?)

I like the original smaller Pinto better because he's scaled to fit the surroundings--balancing on that cliff looks precarious in the first version. And the Fool is a small creature in a large world, so he should be smaller, I think.

LOL Debra...i am just about there myself! ...so don't feel alone!

Okay, i am glad you changed your mind because, i actually scraped the stuff i did for hours on this card today
...then i went back after a break and just enlarged the whole card instead...didn't change
'any' proportions...so it was the very same card as the 1st card, except i enlarged it keeping the same exact proportions...

My main goal was to have Pinto fit in with the other cards in coloring, depth, and Chi siz...
Granted they are not all exactly the same size because of my starting photos that were
sometimes available in a limited size for some Chi's...i just did the best i could with them...

i am planning on keeping the larger version because otherwise it will look silly with the rest
of the deck i think. Other than all that, i just tweaked it to the max...and that was it...
It finally came together really well... and i really thought you would like it...

But then you did say don't listen to you...right? LOL...you are really funny now!

i am very near to finishing the editing now...only about 2 cards left to edit...but i do have
one card that i may revamp...but that shouldn't take too long...

..anyway...it is 3am...and i am off to get some rest...and should finish up the editing, etc. tomorrow
if all goes well...

I also like that you dropped the "zero" numbering for the Fool, people have different ideas about the Fool numbering and I personally think of it as the unnumbered card

I still vote for the Tower with the lightening

For Pinto as our Fool, I like better the 2nd enlarged version We can see him better and "he" is the subject of this card....moreover, once the card will be a "Tarot card" it will be somewhat smaller than what we preview on our PC; so definitely it is the enlarged version that is best!

Now, as I was browsing again through the posts, I looked again at the Moon card and I really love the 2nd version! and if only 1 Moon card has to be in the deck to keep the cost down; pleassssssssssssssssse could you keep version 2???

There is a "+" about version 2 that is missing in version 1...version 1 is beautiful BUT version 2 is exquisite and enchanting
