Hello,
up 'till now I've always used decks that were quite "classic" or typical tarot decks for readings (usually some variation o the Rider-Waite) - or even simpler decks to keep from "scaring" people off: a lot of people in my environment seem to have difficulties with a business-consultant reading the tarot - especially if the cards evoke strange images in their minds.
Luis Royo's art has always had a special appeal to me, but the images on the cards simply don't seem to relate to the essential meaning of the cards - not even the major arcana.
Does anyone have experience using these for readings, and have you found sufficient meaning in the visual images ... that don't completely contradict the classic interpretation of the cards !
Guess I'm still looking for that one deck that just "feels" right, and also inspires my interpretations visually. I've even thought about making my own ... although that seems to be an impossibly long process.

Hi and Welcome,
I have this deck in my collection but I still have not tried it out as I see it more as a collector's deck than a reading deck.

"Here" you mean at the shop you work at?
MMMMMHHHHHHh... I must make a list of you all leaving in continental Europe (well, maybe all Europe) and working in a metaphysical shop...
I think I will PM you soon, my friend... ;)

Hi Pollux,
No, I don't work in a metaphysical job (lucky for my bank account, unlucky for my thirst for decks and books), I'm just a plain secretary and part time witch with a strong inclination for TAROT LOL.
Feel free to e-mail me if there is a need in Naples for the Black tarot.

Hi, Sullanciri --
I'm sorry you didn't get more of a specific answer to your question, but please don't be offended. Conversation on these forums tends to be friendly and free-wheeling. If someone raises a specific question about a specific deck, I think it's OK for others to use that thread to raise other questions about the same deck, like if it's out of print or not.
It may simply be that no one here has spent much time reading with that particular deck, and so no one has much info to give you on it. I certainly hope you'll continue to participate on these forums, and perhaps, if you continue experimenting with that deck, you'll let us know how it's going and tell us about your experiences with it.
All the best --

I think I must apologise, Sullanciri2002.
However, my first question was serious: I actually knew it was OOP.
I hope you will accept my apologies, and forgive me.
I am sorry I can't help you with the "main" question, but I hope someone else will. :)

i'm sorry, too. we have this running joke here about OOP decks. ppl tend to freak out when we hear a deck is OOP and everyone rushes to get a copy. it's really pretty comical. when pollux said what he did, i was too tempted not to tease back. i can understand why you'd be offended if you don't know the background behind the joke. we certainly weren't laughing at you.
unfortunately, this is not a deck i'm very familiar w/. best wishes for getting your question answered. i hope you will stay and learn for yourself how we have fun w/ tarot.

I can't find it at all on Amazon, bn.com or Borders.com, so I'm guessing it is.

Thanks to everybody for the clarification - my apologies if I got too "angry" ... I can appreciate a good joke as much as anyone else, but it is difficult to get the jest if you're the newcomer. Hope I didn't offend anyone. Will certainly see if I can put up the answer to my own query somewhere in the future ... although I'm not sure I can afford to spend money on decks I'm still hesitant about (too many other hobbies making it hard to "allocate" funds)
