Rostie!!!!! It arrived yesterday, didn't know 'cause my husband checked the mail when he went to work (he works nights) so he called me from work and told me. So now I have it right here, and it is so freakin' cool! I love that it is an oversized deck, I love the big heads, I love the button and stitched up eyes. I love the weird out of this world scenery. I went straight for the lwb, I love the way he wrote it, so "story-like" of course. I can't wait 'till your's arrive Rostie, I am sure you'll love it! The 8 of Coins just tickles me, that mouse is really chillin' and posing on that chaise lounge! lol. I LOVE this deck! Lin

What I really like about using this deck is the slight spins that he has put on the cards' traditional meanings. His interpretations do lead from the ones we're more used to, but they are frequently taken one step further, or a facet is illuminated that you might not have thought of before. The LWB is, indeed, really well done, and pretty necessary for using the deck unlike many LWBs. And of course the artwork is so delightful, I love the 6 of Swords especially. Faerie Lin, what do you think about his interpretive method of having a different spatial setting for the 4 suits: the labyrinth for swords, circus for wands, desert for cups...? I'm fond of it personally, it makes so much sense and I'm sort of surprised it hasn't been done before to my knowledge. I wanna hear your opinions too when you get it, Rostie!

Hello there, I have had the Phantasmagoric Theatre deck since last year. It was actually the second deck I ever bought. I still don't know how to read really (a beginner here), but I love this deck - one of my favorites. I viewed hundreds of decks online since getting this one and it is so unique. I was surprised that it hadn't become more popular so far. It seems like it would broadly appeal to males, people with a quircky sense of humor, and the counter-culture of kids that are into the piercing scene... and beyond that, it is a smart deck and the LWB is intelligently written.

Qolus!!! :) Molly!!! :) The different settings DOES make so much sense huh?! Pure creativity and genius! Absolutely love it! Rostie and I have discussed why we thought it was kinda weird how more people weren't fond of this deck either. The 6 of swords is another one of my favorites!! That character really looks psycho and dangerous on top of there. And the other one is like "Let me get the hell outta here, and leave you with your crazyness." Kinda looks like s/he is "quietly and discreetly" leaving. hehehe. I am just truly excited about this deck! Molly you have hit my personally on the nail! lol. I would consider my humor quirky and I have the "normal lol" labret, eyebrow and tounge peircings. I LOVE THE LWB!!!! hehehe This deck has made me VERY hyper today! I think today I'll tire my baby out instead of vice-versa! Lin

Speaking of your baby, what a cutie! Thanks for the pic, Lin!!! Yeah, while I don't own this deck, I laughed my a$$ off when I looked through it in the store. It's so like the comic Lenore to me. Do you think I should put it on my wish list? Let me know if it's easy to read from. I still haven't tried to read from my Vampire deck cause I thought that might be too hard, but I love it a lot. This deck looked so spooky, funky, sort of "Nightmare before Christmas-ish". I'll definately have to look it over again. But I did find out about it from one of the threads, and that's what prompted me to look it up at the store. So I know some people around here dig it. Talk to all you freakie-deaks later! napaea

Rostie Yep!!! It arrived the same day you asked me about it! Just didn't know 'cause no one checked the mail until late lastnight. Its a sign! Or you sensed that it arrived for me! I'm so excited that I have it and I'm so excited that you're expecting it in the mail! Wohoo! lol Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!! lol heheheheh@my freaky one Napaea!!! Thankyou! You should definately put this deck on your wishlist!!! You are so the Phantasmagoric type! hehe. Yep the LWB will help out alot in the meanings BUT, its a pure delight to read! Makes me wanna jump into the cards and be with all them wacked out characters! I also want to get the Vampire Deck, I think that will be the next one I get after I get the Fantastical one. LOL! One of my thoughts was that if US Games wanted to up their distribution (I believe that is the publisher, but I am too lazy to double check) , they should send copies of this deck to tatoo and piercing parlors! I think people that were never into Tarot would see this deck and just fall in love! And who knows? maybe buy more! Even though I bought one deck before this one, I still consider this my first deck cuz it's the one I really wanted to get. I was real happy to see some other fans out there! Has anyone done any readings with it yet?

Molly thats a GREAT idea! I know if I had seen this deck in a tattoo parlor it would have caught my eye in a heartbeat, and I would have BEEN had it in my possession. I can't believe I didn't find out about this deck sooner. They really should distribute this deck to more "different" places other than metaphysical shops and the such. I haven't done any reading with it yet, I read all of the lwb lastnight. Sat comfy in my chair, and went along with the lwb with the cards. It was so much fun!!!! lol I feel like I know all the characters! lol. Qolus has done readings with it though right Qolus? And mighty good ones at that too. :D Lin

So, Molly, exactly how many tattoos do you have? 8) Well, you guys could always take your cards to a tattoo parlour and offer to do readings!! Maybe in exchange for discounted piercings (Faerie Lin) or tattoos! (Molly) :) just a thought!

Okay, here's my advice on tatooing and piercing: If you are a female and ever want to have children, do not get a tatoo on your lower stomach/bikini line and do not get a belly button ring. Sure, it looks cute when your 19, but after two pregnancies the tatoo will look like a giant blob and you will have unreasonably long-stretching scars from the belly ring from your belly expanding. Although, that will most likely not be noticable what with all the stretch marks, so - hey- your choice! LOL I have a tatoo on my lower back in the middle, solid black, Hindi sanscript of the word "love" - which is also my husband's name ;-) That looks good still - good spot, highly recommended. I also had a tongue ring which I had to take out for dental x-rays and it closed up. I then got it re-done, and once again removed it and it closed up within 12 hours. So my advice with tongue-rings, after two, is: request far back - but not TOO far back (swelling is worse the farther back on the tongue). People don't notice it if it is just far enough back... unless you want them to ;-) and GET all dental procedures OVER WITH FIRST! I do miss it and might someday get it re-done. But that is the extent of my adventures... I actually look pretty conservative --- wuuhha ha ha :::rubbing hands together:::: LOL!
