The art is wonderful! And I really like the imagery so far. I can't wait to do an actual reading!
I'm very excited :D.

Enjoy your Halloween deck !
This is certainly one I want to have some time (probably soon :D)
I wanted as a "fun deck" for my collection but quite some people seem to do good readings with it ! Do you have the book as well, can you recommend it ? I am also wondering who you'll get on reading with this deck, please keep us posted !
BTW I was scanning the bargains at ebay and they have bags with bats and spider webs on it, would look great for a deck like this (I will try to make something myself...I'll just have to find the right fabric somewhere...)

I purchased the set and am glad I did. I like the book - great trivia and some insight on the cards.

I've seen that bag - it's very cool! :) I almost purchased it from Tarot Totes - but went with a cartoony looking Halloween bag instead (I felt it echoed the mood of the deck).
It is a fun deck to work with and quite easy to read (and I'm a relative newbie). I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

WolfSpirit -
I did get the deck and book set and I really enjoy the book. As Starfish said there's a lot of neat Hallowe'en info and trivia in it.
I saw those bags too, but I really like making my own bags for my decks, it makes it much more personal. I'm planning a trip to the fabric store and hopefully I'll be able to find something a little bit Hallowe'eny there :D.
I really like the Death card in this deck. That's the one that immediately jumped out at me.

WolfSpirit: I also recommend the deck & book set. The book is a lot of fun to read; offers interesting information on Halloween (that I have not seen before) & is very supportive of the deck.
I also look at the well-known characters & images that illustrate the various cards of the deck in a whole new way now :D

Jimilyn: amazon only sells the set of book and deck as far as I have seen, but I believe blackwells has 3 options: deck+book, deck separately or book separately. Probably more shops have these...so you should be able to get a book should you really want to !

Looking at your name I am sure you will appreciate the black cat that appears on all the cards ;)
I have used this deck for readings and despite its humourous look I find it very honest and clear. You will not need the book but it is really fun to have. It describes the cards with a bit of humour and also explains the symbolism, that is deeper than I would have thought at first.

You do not need the book to use the deck if you already have tarot knowledge, but it is still great to have imo.
The first chapters are about the halloween history and symbolism, and the description of the cards is also interesting.
For example the Lovers card (I chose this one because it can be seen here at AT, for those who don't have the deck):
the cardis about individual choice and the interplay between the subconscious and conscious minds.
The young woman is reading a letter from her faraway boyfriend when the vampire pays her a visit. She is not frightened but tempted by him. There are symbols of temptation in the card: on the drapery behind her is a tree of forbidden fruit and around it a snake. The quilt has the symbols of hearts, wedding rings, spades and Gemini (sign of duality), indicating she has to make a choice. Choices are often made more difficult by intrusive factors in any guise.
I shortened it a little, the text is a bit longer but I hope it gives an impression. It is not the deepest deck ever but not just a fun deck either if you give it a chance.

This one has a place of honor hanging on the peg rack in my room. My favorite T.V. show as a kid was the Addams Family. Some of the cards remind me of them.
Queen of Pumpkins- Morticia
Magician- Gomez
Page of Pumpkins-Wednesday
Ten of Imps- Uncle Fester
Tower- The Addams Mansion
I love the Temperance card the witch mixing and blending her brew.
The Five of Pumpkins- The poor little trick or treater dropped her bag of treats in the snow. What a great way to depict this card.
This deck isn't just for collecting though, I get very good readings with it.
Congrats on your new deck. Hope you love it as much as I do.
And hey, I still watch Addams Family reruns....
