Just ordered a Greenwood Tarot off Amazon (at least one more left at last viewing), as well as a Glastonbury. What do you think of my choices?
Everyone hope with me that they both arrive safely and on time.

Congratulations on your forthcoming decks! I'm not familiar with either of your choices (so I'm off to go and have a peek), but getting new decks is definitely something to celebrate.
Let us know when you get them!
Blessings -

I don't know the Greenwood, but the Glastonbury is definitely a good choice!
Check out this thread for more opinions on the Glastonbury.

I hope you enjoy the Greenwood as much as I do! I think it is THE most under rated "sleeper" deck of all time! Everyone that I know that has gotten it has loved it but for some reason it just keeps getting forgotten about in "top ten" lists. The art work is good, the symbolism is good, the book is good. This deck reads very well for me. I will be anxious to hear how you like it!

i have both of those decks and they are fabulous. i think glastonbury edges greenwood out marginally as my fav of the pair but imho you have a winning team!! the art on both is amazingly beautiful. the only thing that edges out the greenwood over the glastonbury is that i love glastonbury's estactic and clear colors. i get a little tired of so much green w/ greenwood.

I just ordered the Glastonbury myself, it had been on my wish list for some time.
I just started reading with the Greenwood. The majors are in a completely different order and diff. names from traditional, also some minors have diff. meanings. I still find it an easy deck to read though, just let the artwork do the talking, it'll tell you all you need to know. Yes it's a green deck, very much about bonding with nature, so it may not be suitable for a career spread. I love this deck very much, it's my number one at the moment !! :)

Ohhhhh Congratulations!!!! I sure hope you get your hands on the Greenwood as it is OOP! I own both of these decks and I would not trade either for the world. In terms of color I agree with Truthsayer that the Glastonbury's colors are brighter and more lively, but I do love the earthy tones and feel of the Greenwood. Both decks touch me spiritualy which is why they are so special to me, so it basically depends if I am in a "bright" mood or not which deck I would choose. I look forward to hearing what you think once you get them!

The Glastonbury is a glowing deck when you sit in car with some building lights slightly touching the deck, looking at the scenes cards under the full moon. This could be a night deck, although the meanings are kindly. Even the bluish tinge to some of the mysterious figures doesn't threaten after awhile, as you read and feel the healing atmosphere...I believe it is an Avalon of the mind or memory. If you have anime or bright, glossy decks, this might be a nice contrast...and the book is done well and nicely fits in with one of those Chinese silk zip-bags with the cards...
The Greenwood is a day deck and for awhile, I thought the Lovers card and some of the more primal touches would be rough-hewn...but it is more flexible and as some have pointed out to me, the Wheel of the Year and card correspondences are laid out. For awhile I put it with my Merlin, but pulled it out this weekend for monthly readings. It also has a very good book.
With some luck, I'll manage to get an early present of the Wild Spirit, which I am only getting for the cards. Wild Spirit and Greenwood are to be day companions in some fantasy realm...
While the art styles are different, the card size of the Wild Spirit, Glastonbury, Greenwood, Merlin and Arthurian seem to be cut in the same or similar squarish shapes...
I hope one or both satisfy your zest for British/Celtic Isle and naturalistic art...
