(hope this is the correct English title)
Anyone having this one or working with it?
The book shop I frequent has had this one for ages and I never took it into consideration apart from yesterday. I asked to have this pack opened and the first thing which struck me where the supplementary cards for the signs of the zodiac. I had no time to check out more but let the deck tuck aside for my next purchase but my curiosity was picked so I heavily count on jmd and some other specialized in the "Ancient" decks to give me some more ideas about this one.

I've never found a site in English that explains the Minchiate. Although, a gentleman known as Uri Raz seems to have posted scans of one of the Minchiate reprints, below.

I've only found Brian William's book in English, as part of his Minchiate set. A review follows by Tom Tadforlittle, which explains the suits a bit better:

The Minchiate is earlier than the Neoclassical 1810 by di Gumppenberg and is said to be a Florentine game similar to bridge. Perhaps if you do google searches in Italian or French, you might come up with a page.

Thanks Mari for providing the link. I have to admit that the LoScarabeo Minchiate deck is less colourful, maybe due to printing techniques or whatever. The background of the LoScarabeo is grayish and all colours look mute. I wish I had the deck showed in your link!
