Yep, these were indeed the decks I got from my coworkers (ok, with a little help from myself ;)
I was beaming with joy and anticipation to try them out.
I think there are several comments in the Marseilles study group about Visconti and I recall truthsayer to be one of the Nefertari enthusiasts.
Anymore input about these decks?

Happy B-day Caitlin! ~throws confetti around the room~ ... I do not have either of these decks but the Visconti will be a wonderful historical deck to explore and I hear the Nerfertari is absolutly gorgeous. You will have to tell us about them once you have worked with them!

YES! I have suggestions! Moddy suggestions! *LOL* :D
Just dsearch the boards, and you will find a load of Neferatri threads, I am sure.
As for VS, well, there's not much we could say about it I think... But you should give it a try anyway.
The purpose of this post it:
Which edition of the Visconti you got?
The ENGLISH VISCONTI GOLD from LoScarabeo?
I have a LoScrabaeo Italian Plain one, and I love it. First deck I ever got (not including the Rider Waite and Marseilles I dabbled with).

what wonderful decks for your birthday, catlin! hope you are having a good one! enjoy the decks and your new year!
nefertari and hanson roberts are my primary reading decks. nefertari is my personal deck. just a few things that will help you transition to the nefertari. 1)only read them in dim light like candle light. sunlight or bright indoor lights will produce a near blinding glare. if you must use bright light, i suggest sun glasses. 2) cats are fascinated by the shininess of nefertari. after narrowly avoiding damage to my cards from a couple cat attacks, i only use them w/ the cats OUT of the room. i bought the sphynx, the mirror twin of nefertari, for reading around the cats if i can't avoid them.
i have the visconti gold. i traded for it b/c i have calvino's book "castle of crossed destinies". it uses the visconto for readings in the book. the plan is to pull the cards used in the book to see what i think of the readings of the pilgrims in the book. haven't done it yet but while there's life there's hope.

It is very insiteful, inspirational and intuitive :)
The more you use it the more you will be entranced by it.
