Hubby ordered me 2 decks!!!!

Yesterday my husband ordered me the Halloween tarot/deck book set and the Inner Child cards. I'm real excited and hope these decks come in soon. They both look like terrific decks and the Halloween one will be fun as it is approaching. Gotta say, I've got a terrific husband!!!!

i love both of those decks. as a mother of 3 girls, those would be safe w/ them. the halloween is so adorable but readable if you are familiar w/ rws cards. be sure to follow the black cat thru the deck! they're not scary at all. the inner child cards can get pretty deep but the art is great and i love them! the only problem i see is that they are HUGE and can be difficult to shuffle. the authors state in the book that they made the cards large for little hands. i don't think they realized this decision would back fire on them. there is a workbook coming out this fall. i have it ordered from amazon but haven't gotten it yet. the good thing about the cards being big is that you can see the art better.

The Halloween is just down right precious. I love the bright colors of the Inner Child Cards, I almost bought the work book the other day, it is already available in a local book store where I live. Finally decided to wait on it because I was busy buying Healing With Faeries and its book, and because I knew I would not be working with it in the next couple of months at least *LOL*. Wow, what a great hubby! Does he have a brother? A nice cousin? ;) Now back to topic: I really think you'll like your new decks. The Halloween is so CUTE but not in a cloying or off-putting way. It's also very similar to RWS so it's easy to read with. And the Inner Child cards? I love them. I'm hoping to be able to work with them soon (when I can pull my beloved cards out of the packing boxes). I think you'll have a great time when they arrive! :) Kes

Good husband, the Halloween deck is actually the first one that came into my life. My husband just gave me the Medieval Scapini Tarot. That deck I will probably use solely for spells. Pollux are you single??? Starr

I love hubbies who give tarot decks! My hubby gave me the Halloween deck for our anniversary, and he's got the Victoria Regina on order for my birthday in a couple of weeks. I love my Halloween deck, although I've been sick with the flu since I got it and haven't been well enough to play with it yet :( Cheers Kath

arrrggghhhh! i'm soooo jealous, i want the Halloween deck so bad! please tell as soon as you get 'em & let us know how you like them! :) congrats! (and hope hubby got aptly rewarded!)

Thanks Starfish :) I'm getting better, and I should be as right as rain in another day or two. I have been reading through the little book that comes with the deck and it's quite interesting. Before I got the deck, I thought that it would just be a cute and fun take on the RWS, but when you actually look at the cards (and read the book) there is a whole lot of symbolism crammed into those pictures! I can see now why so many people say that it gives great readings. Cheers Kath

I got the Halloween Tarot and Inner Child Cards in the mail the other day. They are both gorgeous and I look forward to working with them and doing my new deck spreads. Right now I am reading thru the book that goes along with the Halloween Tarot. These are 2 terrific decks! I love them.
