Has anyone here used the Vision Quest deck ?
I just ordered it online from Isis Wicca Supplies. I saw a few of the cards and had to have them. The artwork is so beautiful,
and they just spoke to me. I bought just the deck, but each deck has a little booklet in it explaining how it's used. I can't wait to get it. Just want some advanced input !!!!

I can really recommend this deck ! It is not my main reading deck now (too many others I love as well...) but I had good results with this deck. The artwork is lovely, there's lots of nature elements in it that I really love. It is also a gentle deck, in the sense that there are no harsh images. But not too soft in the sense of getting fuzzy.
I'm sure you will love this deck !
And the little white book that comes with the deck is a lot bigger than most lwb's and also really good, it gives for every card the inner message and the outward manifestation.
The deck is very good for more spiritual readings :)

I really like this deck too.
I only had the bad luck to get a deck with some missprints but they will send me replacements as soon as they have reprinted the deck...they told me mid januari ( keep my fingers crossed)
And i second Wolfspirit's comments on the lWB, i think its one of the best lwb's i know!!!

It's a nice deck, although some of my cards have fuzzy printing on them.

The Vision Quest is a pretty deck, and very "gentle" as someone said, but in my opinion, in order to read with it, you'd need to know your tarot really well. The images on the cards are beautiful, but don't jump start the imagination like more traditional decks do. If you just read for yourself and don't mind referring to a book a lot or if you're willing to learn some new meanings and images, it's a good deck. Or if you're an experienced reader, then you could probably read with it due to the fact that you could go on what you already know about each card of traditional tarot. Vision Quest was one of my first decks, and my advice would be to use a traditional deck and get thoroughly aquainted with tarot first.

Lovely lovely deck. The LBW is wonderful, but contrary to Teal, I don't think one needs to know so-called traditional meanings to understand it. I use it rarely, but it is one of the few decks of mine that I consider precious. It'll teach you lots in a gentle way.

I am definitely in love with this deck.
Don't know if I can add much to what others have said, I agree with all their points.
I can see what Teal means since this deck is a sort of Thoth-clone, and there are moody minors instead of scenes. Also, it is pictorially rather poor, providing few visual cues; the many details and elements in the pictures (like pillars, tools, creatures or other stuff) we are generally used to have been nicely replaced by a number of animals and some nice games of shapes and colours.
I personally find the images extremely evocative, and talkative; yep, I think this is a deck you'll find yourself TALKING TO very soon... *LOL* There are positive energies travelling in the artwork that will carry you away with ecstasy and awe.
I know I probably treat my deck with too much reverence, but I do feel it is a sort of gentle master and teacher, always ready to pull me in the right direction.
The LWB is maybe more of a BOOK *LOL* The percentage of useul stuff you'll find inside it is probably higher than what you'd get in an average tarot book... (What an heresy, I know! *LOL*)
I have definitively secluded mine to personal readinds regarding spiritual questions or matters (and sometimes also friends' - like Tarophelia! :D *LOL*)

Thank you for the tip.
I shall try that and see what they say. I was OK with it until someone pointed out that the card wasn't meant to be that way. Then it started to bother me more and more.

It just occurred to me , reading where everyone is from,
that it's pretty cool that people all over the world may be using the same the decks that I am, and getting similar guidance. It kinda' makes us feel more like family.
We share which decks work well for us and there is always someone somewhere else in love with the same deck. It's really
awesome to think that we have all found a common thread through something as positive as tarot
It gives me hope that maybe the world isn't such a negative place, if all of us are in it putting out all of this positive tarot energy.
I just find it all pretty amazing !!!
I know it's a little off the subject, but there it is !!!!
Thanks for the chance to share.
