I have experienced ravings about it on CompTarot - now you brought this up and I finally see the cards, and YAY I don't like them! Thanks Rostie! :D *ROFL* })
I think it's a very OOP wanted deck - if you manage to grab it for a decent price, it would result in a very convenient trade... But that's unlikely cos I know there's a whole lot of members of the list who are hawking the deck already now! *LOL*
You still haven't learnt that you must keep your Ebay finds for yourself, and not share them with the gawpy hungry tarotholics? ;) *LOL* })

rostie,
a little friendly advice from one of those awful gawpy hungry tarot-holics--BUY IT! if you don't like it, give me first dibs at it and i'll do my upmost to find a trade that'll make you happy. it's oooohhhhhh so tempting to bid on it myself but there is honor amongst tarot-holics. i think there are several ppl seeking this deck other than me. i don't think you'll regret buying it. if you decide against bidding on it, please let me know? please! :) :D
****what does gawpy mean?*******

Darn it Truthsayer you beat me to it! (first dibs that is). You know Rostie, it is true that there is honor among us Tarotholics. Once upon a time I was dying to have the Greenwood. Kaz found it on E-bay and it would only ship in the US, she wanted it too but does not live in the US. She told me about it and I volunteered to get it for her and she would pay me back via pay-pal. And so it was that I got her this deck that I sooooo wanted and mailed to her when it came in (I did not even open the shrink wrap and peek at the cards ... which was indeed really hard! *LOL*). Kaz was wonderful in scanning all the cards so I could see them, share with me the notes on the deck, she did everything she could to share her deck with me from afar. Then one day, months later, she PMd me and told me she had worked through the deck and done what she wanted with it, and that knowing how much I wanted it that she would be willing to trade it to me. And so I now own the Greenwood. The moral of the story is honor among tarotholics can pay off :D

i emailed the seller at ebay for more information before bidding. it's really tricky figuring out what to do when you don't speak a langauge. i hope the seller knows a little English. please pardon my glaring ignorance, rostie, but what language do people in belgium speak? :) is the stated 20,00 euros supposed to be 20.00? 20.00 is 21.45 usd but 20,00 is more than i can afford. i could get 10 amber decks for 20,00! :D })

we people from belgium mostly can speak different languages because we learn that on school: our motherlanguages depends: when we live in the north it is dutch, when we live in the south it is french, when we live in the east it can be german, on school we learn: dutch, french, english and some (depends on wich school you choose) german, so normally she will understand you...
i bought the tarot for cats from her and she was very friendly, i don't had any problems, her auctions are in US dollars, and not in euro...it's 20 dollar and not 2000 at the moment })
i know it must be difficult, we ourself only have for 1/2 years the euro and sometimes it's still difficult...

i've seen there was something wrong with this auction and contacted the seller...ebay has changed her auctions because she asked a little fee if you pay through paypall (4%)...this is forbidden by ebay and they have changed it: all the bidders have disappeared and the auction is replaced to tomorrow, so if any of you have bid, you have to bid again if you still want to or ask it to herself, so she can work it out with you, she's really friendly :)

next to this, i really want to know something more about this deck, why is it so loved, why are there ravings about it like pollux mentioned??? is it a typical australian deck, is that the reason or something else, is it the author, painter?
with love.

it's a cute humorous deck and has lots of pix of cats. that's why i want it. i had not bid on it b/c of the extra fees she said she was adding. i wrote her about it but never got a response. now i know why. what is the date that the auction is restarting? here it is february the 6th. thanks, rostie!

it's just a day later that it's ending, normally now it was already done but now for us belgium it ended 7th feb, but for you time is different so for you it can be it's the 6th that it ended, so you don't have much time left, now it's still 13 hours and a bit :)
with love.

In Europe, unlike say Britain, America, Australia, etc, numbers are seperated by a comma, instead of dot/full stop/period. This can cause confusion.
Hope this helps!
