Maybe I haven't searched enough...but is there a definitive list of sites where in all total I can find the total of all decks on the market? Solanidia's recomendations are great, and when it comes to purchasing, I will support this forum! - but - if it exists - has anyone collected all websites that feature the vast selection of ALL DECKS! Because everywhere I turn - I find something new! Argh.....

Would you be interested in taking it on as a project? You could see what folks add here, plus there have been other threads in the past about good sites. You could compile the list and I imagine Solandia would post it, or the moddie of this area could make it a sticky thread.

nope. So many decks are self-published, it would be impossible.
Playingcardsales.com is a good site for looking at decks, with lots of pictures. You can search by country, publisher, type of deck, etc.
Tarotgarden.com has LOTS of decks, and purchases there help support aeclectic.
You can also look at decks on Aeclectic, the collection here is pretty extensive.

I read somewhere recently that there were over 3,000 decks currently available on the market (out of print, professionally done, artist decks, the works) right now. That's a LONG list!
Aeclectic lists what, 300? And Tarot Garden has about 3 times that. There's 2 web rings for artist tarot, and I saw a German site that had about 60 artist done decks from the Europe area listed but can't find where that was (I was surfing).

Hi, I have about 5 sites that I visit regularly and that cover most of the decks that I want to know about. These are
Aeclectic Tarot of course
Tarot Passages
Wicce's Collection
Tarot Garden
Mystic Eye Tarot Picture Page
But even then there might be a deck that is not listed anywhere. As far as your question, I do have a plan on putting my own decks up on a page with links to all the reviews and references that exist of that one online. Like all the links. But it is a lot of work and I don't know if I will ever finish it (or start it). I don't think there will ever be any site that will have ALL the decks anyway. I think its nearly impossible.

I would love to take this on as a project! I am very good at that sort of work. Is that OK with everyone here?

There is one proviso... that you let Aeclecticians have the first view... LOL
Sounds like a great idea Oliveoil, look forward to it

I shall start working on it - looks like a big task, although the content seems easy to work on - it is the format that I would like suggestions on. So please, if anyone here has ideas on the format for this, please share them with me...

Thanks HudsonGray:
I thought I had seen everything when I discovered the Hello Tarot!. But, this one cracks me up! Especially, since I was a victim of the 80's, meaning, it was during the 80's that I enjoyed the reckless adventures of my college years.
Thanks for keeping me up to date!

I just want to point out that Tarot Garden has over 900 decks in their database, so that might be the best place to start. If you go to their main page and click on the little "Go" button under "Deck QuickSearch" without typing anything in the search field, you will get the whole list.

Oh my god that 80's deck is so clever! I freaked out with the perfection of every card. Elvis Costello as the King of Swords, fantastic! Madonna as the Queen of Pentacles! Edward Scissorhands as The Moon! Oh lord, the cleverness! How much do I wish it was published? Sigh!

It looks like those are all Moon cards from different decks (0ne on the bottom is the Mary Hanson Roberts deck, but the name is in Japanese). That's similar to that site that showed Chariots from 49 different decks.
