At last, at last, our website has been mostly updated.
I am grinning :-) ;-) ;)))))
www.tarotofprague.com
So - the cards are nearly all there. They are nearly all clickable too to see a bigger card AND to send it as an ecard (text on some should ideally be edited a little, but is mostly fine). Please take a look and tell me what you think.
Publication is July 4th - a little bit later than we expected as our printer put us back (and to be honest we then started redesigning things which delayed the printing further - must admit one or two of the cards on the site still are missing bits of detail we put into the "real" cards at the last minute).
Online Ordering is STILL not live (aaarrgghh! we didn't realise they are waiting for a "snail mail" signed "go live" request from us - whoops) but we think it will be ready by 4th July. PLEASE DON'T TRY TO PAY YET - as it looks as though you can, but in fact the shopping cart doesn't take an real order. If you'd like to pre-order just send an email to me please.
What is NOT there yet is the second alternative Death card (the first version of the deck ONLY will have two alternative Death cards) and the cards back. The back had a LOT of work put into it so I wish it was up on the site - looks like it will take a couple of days though. We also haven't got pictures and details of the book and cards cover up yet (cards come in printed "hard-back book" type cover with matt gold metallic ribbons and it's gorgeous - I am allowed to say that because Alex designed it, not me).
Okay - will be back to say when it's all finally there.
Oh - as people keep asking, the price is officially 29.90GBP for the set (300 page book, deck in cover with LWB, and all in a big printed box) BUT as we announced 22.75GBP we are keeping to that for the time being (had to put the price up for various reasons including getting carried away with the packaging - however, as I say we will go on selling direct at the price we promised). We are trying to get Worldpay to also put up the price in USD. If not, we'll do some sort of conversion or work it out somehow.
Okay - sorry for long message! Have fun with the ecards.
If you see anything on the site that needs to be changed (we will update a lot of the text by the way) then please let me know.
Huge thanks for all the feedback and encouragement.

Your website looks wonderful and loads quickly, even on my dial-up connection. The cards appear clear, strong and beautiful. I love the little windows that come up to discuss print quality, special ordering offers, etc.
You and your partner have done a sterling work in all respects, and it will be an honor to hold these lovely cards in my hands, knowing the thought, sensitivity, care and concern -- in a word, integrity -- associated with this deck.

That is wonderful news! I was just at your lovely site yesterday and was wondering how it was going for you. I went to your site just now and it is great seeing all the cards. I'm happy things are coming together for you and that you are about to see your tremendous effort come to fruition. Thanks for updating us; I look forward to having this deck!

Many thanks!
The remarks about the colours are interesting. Colour is very important to us and we've been working with the printer very closely to make sure the colour comes out the way we envisage (he says now that if he doesn't get at least one call or visit a day from us he starts to feel neglected!)
By the way, someone who I met here on Aecelctic (you know who you are :-) ) gave us continual and invaluable advice on the colours from an ED point of view - as I don't use EDs in my readings. Her help made a huge difference and decks will be winging their way to her the minute we have them.
Oh - meant to say. The online ordering is now up and working. If you have any trouble with it please let me know. WorldPay use templates so there were only a few things we could change - hope it's all easy and straightforward (by the way, you don't get transferred to their secure server until you actually go to check-out - we never see the card details, they deal with all that).
IF YOU ORDER BEFORE 4TH JULY PLEASE REMEMBER TO LET ME KNOW WHICH FREE PRINT YOU WOULD LIKE. I couldn't find a way of adding that to the WorldPay pages (I'm working on it) but please just let me know by email.
Huge thanks again. There have really been times (like 2 am on a Prague winter morning) when Aeclectic has kept us going.

We've just had a couple of emails saying that all the transactions are coming up as "test transactions". The good news is that it isn't taking money from any credit cards - and the BAD news is that it isn't taking money from any credit cards.
PLEASE don't pay yet (and huge thanks to those who have attempted to). We will need to send a form to ask them to make payment "live".
Oh dear - compared to all this payment stuff, writing the book was easy!
Sorry - and huge thanks for your patience.
