I was just looking at the pictures of this deck...very cute. Not too cute for a 13 year old boy but fun enough that he would like it still. And according to the review, the imageries are close to RW. Does anyone have this deck & what do you think of it?

Hi Wildchild,
I like this deck, although its not one I use regularly. The cards are small, about 2 1/4 inches by 3 inches. Or about 6 x 8 cm if I use the other side of my ruler. It's nice for people with small hands or as a carry-along deck. It comes in a really nifty corrugated cardboard box.
It's a very colorful deck, and it does basically follow Rider-Waite. The artwork is sort of primitive, but in a sophisticated way, if that makes any sense.
If you're used to RWS you won't have a large learning curve with this.

I quite like this deck as well although I don`t really use it that much. I find the style a little too primitive. There`s a lack of facial expression.
My 13 year old boy doesn`t like this deck at all, he thinks that the artwork is babyish. He prefers dragons and fantasy style art.

Good point! I showed the images to my son & he said maybe. Still, if he decides he doesn't want it, I could add it to my collection. :D
I must have been a magpie in a previous life...I seem to be drawn to bright shiny things.
