I have the second edition and I think it's a great deck.
I personally think it's a pity people are selling the individual cards, the deck as a whole is so much more interesting. But I suppose people buying the individual cards are not interested in tarot, only in the artist that's on the card.

Well I am big on Tarot, my boyfriend is big on Pearl Jam. So that's why I bought the card :> He thought it was really neat, and figured it would be cool if I used it with my own Tarot deck someday. Not sure how well that would work, but I'd like to give it a try. He thought it could be his significator. The Rock & Roll tarot sure looks challenging though, I don't know if I'd ever be able to read it. It seems so vague and mysterious.

I've never tried reading with it. I think you'll have to know all the artists represented quite well to grasp the real meaning of each card. For me, that works for artists that I know quite well, but not for those that I only know by name.

I have the second edition, which was a gift. The two on ebay are a bargain at that price, since each of the editions often go for over $100 and more.

I Have the second edition and while I have never tried to read with it I do think it is a neat tarot deck :) If you ever find one of them and the price isn't astronomical go for it! :)

I doubt I would find one with a reasonable price haha. But if I did, I probably wouldn't read with it, I'd just keep it as a collector's item. And I wouldn't call that a 'bargain'. The deck isn't worth nearly that much, they're only selling it for that much because they can. I know, my favourite band put out one CD in 1997 or 98 which has THREE songs on it, two of which are accessible on a single that most of us already have, and one of which is accessible on the album that followed it, with a much better sound to the song. It was a promotional item that was given away for FREE with purchase of a few selected albums (or something) at the time, and only 500 or so were made. I have seen fans on Ebay desperately bidding on the stupid thing reaching prices of $200+. To me, and all things considered, that is just insane.
But, that's their choice I guess :>

I have both editions - I got the 1st edition right before the 2nd came out, and I bought a copy of the 2nd so I could read with it.
Although I connected with it from the beginning (it's one of those decks that I "get" immediately) I still don't read with it much - I save it for special occaisions. :D
I saw this deck the first time I came on Aeclectic, and it was my "most wanted" deck until I finally got it. It was worth the money for me, but each to their own :)

The final bid on both decks (and it looks as if maybe edition 2 was still in sheet form, not cut into individual cards?) was $175 and the auction ended with no sale, because that was below the reserve price. Wonder if the value of the decks as collectibles has stabilized for now?
