Hi,
the Ancestral Path tarot has been off and on my wishlist for a long time now. I almost got it once as a present from my sis, but then no (baaaaad) and i have decided to gove it a go by ordering it myself.
I would like to get a deck and book version (to study the suits legends properly) but I was wondering if there are two different books about the cards. So, is the book sold in the set the same as the book sold separately? The ISBN of the "lonely" book is: 0880791764. It has 240 pages and is written by the co-creator of the deck, Tracey Hoover. Its complete title is "Ancestral Path tarot: Paths to Wisdom Using the Ancestral Path Tarot".
The set costs about as much as the deck and book bought separately so money is not the issue.
Thank you very much for your answers.
Greetings,
Kissa
edited to add: not quite sure now whether i should be posting here or in the books section ...

Hi Kissa,
Yes it is the same book. It is a very worth while book to get too. One of the few "written for a deck books" I have felt worth buying. Fey Tarot's is another.
Enjoy!

I agree with Mimers, the book is a good one and it helped me in getting to know the deck. Ancestral Path reads well intuitively (in my opinion), but knowing the creator's intention and the storylines behind the cards and suits helped me to flesh out their meanings.

Thank you Mimers and Astraea for your replies. I am in the process of buying both the deck and the book, I still have to decide whether i order them as a set or not.
Thanks again!
