Hey all
I've heard that the Le Tarot des Templiers is a rare deck, is that true?
At the moment its on ebay and its sooooo got my name on it, but i dont know why i just LOVE the art work, its normally not my thing at all!

Any info on this deck at all?

Damn!
I pushed it up to 35pounds and someone must have put a high bid on it that a little student's wages couldnt pay.
Ohh well, if i see it again - its not going away lol

Tarotgarden.com has it as offline inventory, you can email them about the prices. They're good.

This is one of the decks I've been eyeing up whenever it comes onto Ebay... But it seems quite popular for Ebayers, and it goes up far too high for a student's budget. (Sezo, we are obviously in the same boat here!)

It looks like a wonderful deck, and one that I'd love to know more about. Does anybody here have it? What's it like?

Blessings,

Kiama

*pours a cuppa for Kiama , share the tea whilst sharing the boat*

Well i was first attracted to it because at the moment all my decks are in English, and a French deck would look very interesting amongest my Vampire and Mythic decks lol.

I'd love to hear personal experiences with this deck as well please!

Thanks for the link, felicyitik.

I find is strange, to say the least, that the Papess alludes to the legend of Pope Joan, in a Tarot dealing with the Templars. Knowing how the Magdelene was revered in those days, I am suprised.

LOL!
She gave birth in a procession?!
Sorry, but it seems very funny first thing on a sunday morning!
And a little crude to have her giving birth on the card! but its very "british" about it - no pain - just shows that if she was the Pope then she had a real sense of detatchment from her feminine side or maternal side, to carry out her religious role!

What symbolism does the swan, cat and crab have with the child?! Theres got to be some else why put it there?!

Oh just checked out ebay and the person that was selling the deck that i got outbidded on has put it up for sale again! Hmm does this sound fishy to you?
