Help to identify which....

In another post I posted a request for advice on how to repair a damaged card. The consensus was to write for a replacement, however, before I can write for a replacement card, I have to identify if it is an old version, or new version...I bought this first, damaged set, the Mythic tarot on e-bay, after which I found out that one card was bad, I bought another Mythic Tarot set on e-bay after that realizing that this set is useless with the damaged card....However, both are different versions. They have different thicknesses (this set with the damaged one is a flimsier version), and have different patterns on the back. If I write to US games, I have to figure out if it is the newer version (because if it's the older version, I won't get the replacement from them)...The damaged set card backs are black, with a simple gold line framing the back and a gold cup/pentacle design in the center (which will distinguish whether the card is reversed or upright when shuffling). The other, nicer set I bought has a purplish-blue back with a more intricate gold border, nothing in the center (which would mean that you would not see reversed or upright when shuffling)....so can anyone help me identify which is the newer set, which is the older?

Rats...if you are correct Lee, then I couldn't write US games for a replacement, as it is the older set....

Hi Yve I posted in the other thread as well, but if this helps - Lee is correct - I bought the Mythic Tarot a few weeks ago and my one has dark blue backs with a golden design around the edge. Good luck :) CreativeFire

H Yve, Maybe if you emailed them and asked them if it might be possible for them to send the old version card. It might be worth a try. :)
