Hello!
I was wondering for those of you that have the Jungian tarot, do you recommend the new book that goes along with it? It's called the Jungian Tarot and it's Archetypal Imagery. Do you think the book is really needed? Also for those of you that have the book, it is easy to understand or goobly glook?
Blessings,

1. I have the jungian tarot
2. i have't yet recieved the new book that goes along with it,
3. you could go along and use the deck as a traditional tarot, but the assigned system for the deck is differnt as it pertains to astrology and that changes some of the intended meanings for the deck itself.
4. i got the deck when it first came out and the handbook for the deck, i am so fortunate, for it has the minors cards in it. the archtypal imagery i understand it doens't have the minor arcana book.
5. given that it has the spheres of the kabbalah on the minor cards it becomes clear to me that qabbalah figures heavily into the tarot as well.
6. so you would want to pick up a copy of robert wang qabalistic tarot, which is going to be republished next year .
7. you can check out the study thread in the general study group. and a recent reading i did with it on the reading exchange.

I just ordered the Jungian Tarot from Joan Bunning's site. I'm going to try to read intuitively with them and hold off on getting the book for the time being.

The guidebook to get is the out-of-print original companion book _Tarot Psychology_ by Wang, available separately from the deck. It describes the minor as well as major arcana. You can sometimes find it used.

My Jungian deck arrived today. I love it. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the original book.

I have the Jungian Tarot dect and Robert Wang's book The Jungian Tarot and its Archetypal Imagery. I have started reading the book but have found it a bit heavy going in parts. However although the art work on the cards is lovely, I have no information on the Minor Acarna. Is there a certain meaning to the colours and the small sphere that appears above each card?

would be found in psychology handbook to the jungian tarot.
yet the colours and the spheres do not go into depth.
1. the spheres on each minor represent the sephiroth they are in on the qabbalah tree of life. accordingly all ones spheres would have the same colour.
2. for the colours themselves the wands are on fire and represent their elemental poweres.
3. the minors astrology assocations were changed for a lot of the minors hence the five of swords changes a bit in the jungian tarot .
4. there is a title given to each minor card in the book that would help if keywords in psyology terms would help you .
