Hey all, I was casually browsing the web tonight, and managed to wander over to Alida. Well, low and behold, there was the Gay Tarot available for sale! I know alot of us have been anxiously awaiting the release of this deck, so I just thought I'd spread the good news. Congrats to Lee on the official publication of his deck! TTG (who, as he opens his wallet to pull out his credit card, is wondering how he's ever gonna have the money for food, clothing and shelter again).

North American customers should be aware that Lo Scarabeo releases hit the European market 6 - 8 weeks before the supply arrives at the North American distributors. Llewellyn (the sole N.A. distributor for all L.S. titles) has publicly announced a December release for the Gay Tarot, but privately communicated to me an in-house estimated receipt of October 15th. However, if the European dealers have the decks now, it's quite possible they'll begin to be available here around late September. -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden

Thank you for the information . I was unable to locate it earlier, and I usually shop at Alidas', but with your note, I checked again only to find it listed with Lo Scarabeos' in Italian. It will definitely go on my wish list.

I have had my greedy eyes on this deck for some time, but unfortunately I am strapped for cash until October or so. Therefore, I will have to wait. I think I have mentioned in the past, that this is the only gay tarot deck I would consider buying, as I really like its particular style of thinking and art. When I first got into tarot, I can remember searching for a deck designed with a gay theme, particularly geared towards gay men. Much to my dissappointment I found badly designed tarot-pornography, and general bad-taste. So... I am very pleased that this deck is finally available. :D

I may tell - as I phisically loaded a few box of them - that the Gay Tarot and the Native American Tarot have been shipped to Llewellyn, just a few days ago... in rush time before we closed on for August (I'm going to holiday! :))) That means that on mid-september they should be ready in Llewellyn, if nothing happens.
