I searched but haven't seen much here about this deck--does anyone have it? What do they think of it? I just bought it on impulse (note to self: stop that) when I got the Art Nouveau Mignon (20% if you bought two or more decks!). I'm taking a Mythology in Literature course, and the Celtic Gods are up next, plus I study them a bit on my own, so I thought that this would be an interesting deck once I got to know the dieties a bit more. It seems well-thought-out.
Love it? Hate it? Have any idea what I'm talking about? :D

Here's another review: http://www.wicce.com/celtgaudenzi.html
I'm definitely going to have to pull out my Celtic mythology texts to bone up on who these folks are. The imagery in the Majors is very potent, and goes from lovely to gruesome. The Minors are very interesting, very true to RWS symbology. I like that the Majors show all sorts of body types--Morrigan is quite robust! Artistically, it's a fascinating deck. I'm going to be putting it aside for now, as i have some other new ones to study, and I do need to revisit my Celtic history for these to truly make sense.
I'm glad that I bought this deck. It feels powerful.

I had this deck and traded it away. I liked the majors, but couldn't stand the minors. All those muscle-bound comic book males were a complete turn-off. the reviews say that the minors are a good match to the majors, but I don't think so. It's jarring, at best.
