Great idea for a thread! :)
My favorite Chariot is from the Tarot of the Crone:
The whole deck can be viewed atwww.croneways.com: Ellen Lorenzi-Prince's poems are as powerful as the cards.

Forgot to mention. Also the Death card from Waite-Smith.

Actually, one of my favorite "cards" is actually a card pair, from the Jungian Tarot. Check 'em out side-by-side below, and see if you don't view the meanings of those two cards in a bit of a different light afterwards. They've given me much more than a few moments of pausing and reflecting.

P.S. - Tsuzuki: I'm really fond of the Mages Magician card, too. Although there's so many cool cards in that deck, it's hard to choose which one is the "coolest."

And this would make a good Chariot if it were in a deck.

I think from now on, all Chariot cards should have cars in them.

And a new meaning to "for better or for worse"...
Interesting, Jeannette!
I think that my favourite card so far is - blush - the Tower of my own deck in creation...

Nothing wrong with that. Very nice card, Simone!
Okay, here's another one of mine, from the Matthews' Arthurian Tarot. It's Taliesin -- the bardic figure of Arthurian Lore -- as the Hierophant. A much gentler approach to the idea of traditions and values, which are being passed along to the children at Taliesin's feet. The ribbon represents history and the flow of time -- it starts behind Taliesin's chair, flows up and over and through his hands, and into the hands of the children. A very powerful symbol, IMO.
(And, BTW, we named our son Taliesin. This card was not the entire reason for doing that -- but I must admit, it factored into my part of the decision.)
