Hi all,
According to Crowley, he believed that the 'Elixir Of Life' was semen and as such he had some quite bizarre rituals and ideas regarding this like actually baking cookies containing drops of his semen!. But I remember reading something many years back about an esoteric cult in times of jesus who believed the smae thing and did some particular weird rituals themselves akin to crowleys. Anybody can shed some further light on this topic or know about who this group were? I hope I have not offended anybody with my topic.
Blessed be.

Hmm... In my mind, Crowley just got weirder! Although I would love to know his reasoning behind the premise... I suppose that semen can be seen as the Elixir of life, cuz it helps create new life, however, as most people will testify, drinking/ingesting somebody's semen doesn't make them live any longr! (Crowley died, so I'm guessing semen isn't the Elixir Of Life!)

Crowley believed that the sun was the supreme deity represented on earth by the sole giver of life, the penis. He referred to the 'Elixer' as 'the most powerful, the most radiant thing that existeth in the whole universe'. He also belived that potent 'Elixer' was achieved by orgasm at the point of death, which Crowley termed 'Mors Justi'. though this may sound far-fetched, it is not outlandish of any idea when you consider what is now understood of the chemistry of the brain and how it alerts during certain physical and mental processes. For Crowley sex was neither pornographic or erotic, it was more a means to a magical end than anything else....

Well that's a first of me! about AC. I remember when my twin sister was working at Mac Donalds a lot of the guys used to do that with the milkshakes. But that's just being sick and angry because they were exploited.

i think Crowley's infamous 'Elixir' was supposed to be a combination of the bodily fluids from BOTH sexes, thus representing the sacred union and the power it unleashed.
there was also mention in one book of their sacred cakes, made with semen and menstrual blood!
now i can understand the correspondence with energy and power, but really! i've done some VERY interesting rituals in my life, but i'm drawing the line here thank you.
