getting in touch with my spiritual guides?

Could anyone help me get in touch with my spirit guides? I only know of one(thanks, Holmes! ;-) ) of mine, a blood brother from a past life, and I dont know how to communicate with him, only that he is my guide! Could anyone help me here??? Thanks

i8t is an empoering and rewarding you arte stepping one the one question to ask yourself are you ready to alk through the door(to swallow that pill off the matrix) they mostly suggest the book by ted andrews and leave it at that yet i myself found it not to be indeth for what i wanted so i suggest my three favourites books 1. opening to channel 2 ask your angels 3 how to talk to your angels i talk a bit in my channeling post about angels, spirit guides, nature spirites and such. most suggest going into a mediative trance (basically sitting relaxing the body, and breathing rhytmically deep breaths) rule number one ground yourself there is a thread on that which goes into some detail on how do a search but basically see yourself as a flexible tree with roots going into the core of the planet. also by picturings roots/braches coming from the top of the head to it reaches your higher power aligns with the higher forces rule number two i put up a bubble of light around and fillong me to i am a center of a cocoon of light it raises up the vibration so no lower negative forces can enter now in your mind think of a sacred place like a forest, templ meadow, oasis, mountain, accept the first thing that comes to mind and picture yourself relaxing in the native tradition it is cusromery to make an offering especially if it is a nature spirit. this is donewith a handful of tobacco outside yet here you can do sometging differnt in your mind eye picture all your best intentins all your love and make a flower of light and put it before you as an offering and now (if alone outloud)if not in your mind will do 'i call to myself my spirit guide who has promised to guide me in this lifetime so i can get to know him or her" and in the distance you might see a ball of fire an anaimal an angel a person walking towards you. ask it 1. are you my guide 2 are you from the light 3 what is your name 4 what do you have to tell me 5 why are you here to guide me 6 are we todo any work together? to talk to your angel ask your angel a question out loud and picture your heart and you will see the answers there )ask your angels method) or just get an impression(how yo talk to your angel method) ] youwill see there are certain things that they can and do not do. high level guides never take away what youu came here to learn yet they help you get through ir like a coach, cheerleader. or that karate teacher jr miagai? from the karate lid eheh pm or im me any time but please try to get one of the books i mentioned and read it as wellk or first lol for expenses how to talk to your angels for cheapest opening to channel and ask your angels there is a whole slew of books out there that i am not up check the big town or cuty libary there is tons of books in winnipeg libary when i was there if you are really low on cash being young and when it comes to books for i feel you got the thirst of knowledge within you 1 research them by amazon by typing in the topic and looking at the books sometimes thoselists can help, 2 it is ok to get pocket books some of te best books i read wher pockets book like eden gray tarot revealed, how to alk to angels dacvid st clair lessons in instant esp, shamism tapping the spirit power with in you (i reccomend it for the guide information and chakras) 3 quality not quantity 4 never overlook the value of a good used book i got ny first tarot book for 3 dollars by eden gyar and it open up my while world got obly ten dollars/go to your local used bookstore can get two at least there search for truth and any other book by ruth montgomery 5 look out for some of tese used book s some of them i saw from the 60s and highly dogmatic 6 always take what rings true to you and no one else view of truth

HOLMES is THE MAN :P when it comes to this topic! My experience was sort of a physical one. When they were first trying to get in touch with me, it was because I was ready to hear what they had to say. I got strange Deja-Vu type occurrences, like thinking about an obscure song, and then hearing that same song in an unexpected way THAT very day. Or asking a question about something in my head, and having it answered, in a seemingly "Coincidental" way. But I know there are no coincidences now. I even tested this 'roadsign on the path theory' and it didn't fail once. It still doesn't! I was open to meditation, and actually took a psychic energy awakening class being given by a friend. I learned how to get in touch with my guides, who had been trying to get my attention all along. And this is the point where I will refer you back to HOLMES, because all the techniques he listed are what I was taught to do too.

i will definately have to check out those books you mentioned, HOLMES! thanks! errtu: i did use one of the meditations found in Ted Andrews book to find my guide. he recommends closing eyes, become quiet, all that stuff, then picture a big door. (he goes into all details, it's better for you to read it) but then you ask to see your guide, and then allow the door to lift or open. i did this and saw a dark haired woman in a flowing robe. she told me her name, but i wasn't sure about the sound of it, i couldn't quite get it right i go for a walk a day or two later and pass a church i have passed a zillion times. it has a sanctuary dedicated to a woman with a very similar name. i start thinking, could THIS be the name she said? if so i need another sign. a day or two later my friend got in a book he special ordered. i was working at Barnes & Noble, so i put it on his shelf. i look at the book, and again!!! - it is a book about the same woman as the one at the church. so then i knew she was the one that came to me!! keep us posted on this...
