Reiki for Me!

i would LOVE it if any Reiki people could or would send me some Reiki energy. i have been sick for a week with the flu. i haven't really figured out WHY i got sick, like what made me decide to bring this into my body. and when i do get the flu, i usually kick it in 2 days, so this is odd for me. i have been going through a ton of changes, and have been trying to be positive, up, spiritual, open, etc. but i know a lot of these changes are in my mind and how i think/approach things. so i could use any help i could get in getting some healing/positive energy into my system. even if Reiki isn't what i need, maybe some words of wisdom from you guys? accckkk!! (maybe this is a secret plot from my body to help me lose weight? hmmmmm...)

Hi Napaea, Don't feel too down on yourself for getting sick. It might be your body telling you that it is time to slow down some. I know I only give myself an excuse to cease activity for a while if I am really sick. Change and the difficulties that it brings are part of the lessons of this life. It is only natural to sometimes feel negative emotions related to certain changes. It is important to keep a positive outlook, but it is also important sometimes to experience the negative emotions. Sometimes the work becomes twice as hard when I am trying to resist these feelings. If I let myself experience them, (while trying not to inflict them on others, :) ), they can reveal new and better solutions to the problems at hand. Best of luck to you. Take care. Sparrow

Sparrowspirit (love your name!! i adore sparrows!) thanks so much! it's really true about the negative emotions. i usually try to ignore them or i look at them for a second and try to be positive again. so yes, i need to deal with that at this point. thanks for the words of wisdom!!
