Death/Birth

Since the Death card has been showing up a lot in my personal readings, I was wondering what any of you thought about it's meaning. It shows up in reference to a relationship of mine. I kept thinking that it meant the relationship would end...or the two of us would part ways. But it's actually been changing. Changing for the better. So, is it safe to say that this card can be interpreted as a Death to old ways? Or things taking on a new form? What are some of the ways you all have interpreted this or have seen it interpreted?

Death card showed up before, during, and after my sister ran away from home, threatening to end her life in the process and came home safe finally with determination of seeking help. For me, death card is a real transformation card. If you could see this episode from the beginning to the end with me, you get to see the transformation death card brings along side with other cards that surrounging it. One funny thing I should also brought up. I drew a tower card 2 hours before she ran away from home. :)

I see the Death card as an ending to something, followed by a new beginning. So yes, a transformation. So in your case it could very well be the ending of your relationship as it was, and a new beginning for the both of you.
