pulling cards off the deck for readings

I've often wondered what is the correct way to turn the cards over from the deck. Flipping the card toward me or flipping it over sideways? Or does it really matter?

HEEHEE....it doesn't really matter. Everyone has thier own ideas. Different methods have been disscussed here before. I think you should flip it over sideways (like turning the pages of a book) because that's how the cards are in the deck. Although, if WANT to just flip it the other way, I agree with lunalafey that you should always be consistent so that the cards "know" that's how you do it and they can arrange themselves accordingly.
