Now, I know yall are gonna think I'm babbleing but give it a chance please.

Ok...how many letters are in the alphabet. 26. What's 78 divided by 26. 3. 78/26=3.

So wouldn't it be cool if each card represented a letter. 3 B cards, 3 Q cards, 3 X cards (would 10 of Swords be a good one for that?).

Am I just saying nonsense that no-one else cares about??

Actually, Sarah, that sounds fun! How would you use your "code"?

Well Baby Owl...I would tell you how I use it....but I dont even have a code. I just thought it'd be cool if something like that was around.

Sounds like another mission huh??

But if/when I will use it, it'll probably be more of a clarifier thing...
Like lets say you get a court card and you think its one of two or 3 people...then that court card will have a letter...like H. You dont know anyone with an H, so I would draw another card and lets say its an M. Well...one of the people you thought was that court card is Mary..so that card represents Mary.

Like it??

Very creative! It's an interesting idea to play with. A lot of the associations with the cards go back a long way in history. I don't know if anyone has come up with letter associations before or not.

What synchonicity! I was just about to post a thread on this very subject! I would like to see if the tarot could spell words, like the Ouija board. The 22 majors have of course been associated with the Hebrew alphabet.
Hey! Hello out there! wise and wizard people! how can we do Tarot Ouija?

Fire-
Majors & Aces. That way we have 26 for the English letters. KNow what I mean?? I don't know hebrew so...thats why I suggested that.

This idea sounds fun, but the major problem i see here is that there are lot of different alfabets one can use, and all them have different type and amounth of letters. So, its hard to make this.

I could be wrong, but I think the Quest Tarot does something like this! you can read it on the new review on tarotpassages by Kim (who I think is Kiama, right??)...
