I just buy Osho Zen Cards, it is very beautiful, but how do u use it? is it same as other Tarot Cards?

I use these the same way I do a normal Tarot deck. When I first got the deck I referenced the book like crazy, because many of the meanings and titles are different. I think it works well this way.

I've always felt this deck is especially good for questions of a spiritaul nature and for also going deep inside yourself to figure out what's going on with your own life.

The cards are so beautiful it's also nice to meditate on them. Pick your favorite one and step inside it. Talk to the person in the card, see what they have to say to you.

Hi Star Gemini,

I agree with Jen on this one. I also use mine as a tarot deck. I know there is a lot of variation but there are also some similarities. The cards are very beautiful and I have had some quite accurate readings from them.

Hi Star Gemini ... Here's the link for a recent, similar thread on the Osho Zen deck:

I use this deck primarily for my own meditative use and being that it is a little different I use it to try out new spreads. However, after studying it a great deal, I've found that there are more similarities than differences....at least compared to the RW deck and clones. I took my regular reading deck (RW at the time) and the Osho Zen, put the cards in their order and compared them one by one to the respective RW card. Try it. You may be surprised. It just takes a little opening of the mind. Just a few examples:

Inner Voice-is this the High Priestess or what?
Creativity- ditto the Empress
Courage- is this not "real" strength?
Aloneness- Hermit?
Change- Wheel of Fortune?
New Vision- Hanged Man-
Thunderbolt- Tower
7 of fire-7 of wands
7 of clouds- 7 of swords
4 rainbows- 4 of disks

Admittedly, a few cards are different. The 5 in Osho Zen, The Rebel, doesn't remind me much of the Emperor, who strikes me as a pretty stable kind of guy. Although, they could be considered similar in regard to their power and strength.

I've pretty much come to see the Osho Zen deck as taking the "physical" and making it "mental".
