I tried searching for this but I would appreciate some insight into the interpretation of a specific number appearing in three or four of the suits within a single reading.
In a recent 10 card spread I pulled the 3s of swords, cups, and wands. All other minors were reversed, no suit cards at all. I pulled Strength rx, and the World (which reduces to 3).
Obviously I'm supposed to pay attention to 'three' issues, but I was curious what approaches you master aeclectitians use.
peace,

I know I am new to this, and have very little experience, but I have a book that is like a Bible to me. It answers just about all of my questions and it is called Tarot Made Easy by Nancy Garen. I find it very informative and explains about multiple numbers in a reading as well as multiple suits. It also lists 32 different aspects of interpretations for each individual card. It even has different spreads that I enjoy doing as well.

I don't know the whole reading...or the question...but my first feeling about getting three 3's would be positive...Three is the soul card...the triad found in most religions...creativity, passion, intellect, growth...tripled...maybe I would notice the missing 3 Pentacles or Deniers...the earth card...and three precedes the square, the four elements manifested...maybe it's like the 9 before the perfect ten, moving toward a mini-completion in some area of life with the foundation coming next....In a "3" period clearly ready to manifest the foundation of something new...the World reversed since this spread may relate to something that is nowhere near The World upright card.
Maybe the reversed Trumps were telling you to focus on the minors which usually carry less impact, but in this case with 3 x 3......It all depends. What was your first intuition about the cards and their placements within the spread and their relationships with the other cards....
just ideas...
