Who's doing a full moon spread tonight?

I'm planning on it, for the first time, to look at the best way to take action to support some recent decisions lately. I'll utilize the swelling energy of the full moon and my preference is to sit out on my deck *under* said moon, but don't know if I'll have enough privacy. I'm using a full moon spread from Tarot for All Seasons by Jette. Has anyone ever done moon spreads before? I may try doing it at each phase of the moon for the next month or so. Sd

awaiting the spread- I think I shall do one for the 'first time' as well. This is a Capricorn Moon and both my Sun & Moon are in Cap. With everything going on around me, it might be a good time to do one- will there be a thread where we will share our readings?

Ok, I know I promised after lunch, but it's gonna be another hour or two. If anyone has the book and wants to post Jette's Full Moon spread before I get to it, you are welcome. I would say the your readings section would be good....maybe one thread at a time to allow for comments without making the thread hard to access? What are your opinions?

Since now is the best time for me to do the reading and don't have access to Jettte's spread (didn't come up in AT search), I'm going to try the Moon Spread by Yvonne Rathbone (http://www.tarotpassages.com/2002aprilsprd.htm). I'll try to do 2 -- one with each spread if I can, tho :) My vote is for one thread. Works nicely to keep interaction in one place and not have too many threads going at once. Or two threads total, one thread for spreads and another for comments. Anyone else have thoughts?

On page 2, I believe the second post is Jette's full moon spread. As for the thread, I think one thread would be the best idea. That makes it easier to find and compare all the readings.

Hmmmph!!! It is thundering and cloudy, all of a sudden...and I had planned on doing a small ritual outside, and kayaking in the pond under the moon. I guess I can do the reading inside.

YAY!!!! :P The moon here is beautiful tonight...a bit hazy with some cloud cover, but still nice....a gentle glow!!! I will be posting my reading tomorrow..... Another first-timer joining yall on this full moon night. This looks like so much fun....cant wait to do the reading . The moon was out right behind the fireworks we were watching and it looked so big and full.........very excited! I'll post here as well when I'm done! :)

Standing at the top of the world...this card feels empowering for me... 4--The Ten of Swords (Ruin) represents creativity...OK, let me see now...the card shows a strange collage of facial features and body parts, randomly blended together....eyes, a sad mouth, brain, breast...I also see what looks like stereo speakers (???). Words on the card: "broken heart fear of madness...fear of the destructive energies of accumulated anger...negative thinking." I see a lot of confusion in this card...sadness and frustration. I think that this could represent negative energies within my mind--ego energy--that is interfering with my creative process. That in order to rediscover the harmony of creativity, I need to start by changing my attitude and the way I approach my problems. 5--The Ten of Wands (Oppression) represents protection. Apparently, I am feeling quite vulnerable at the moment, based upon this card coming up here. The card shows a ghostly, semi-transparent figure standing with his/her head bowed, surrounded by brick walls (looks like a fireplace) while ten wands are hovering above this structure. The person does not see the wands yet feels the need to seek shelter from something... I see this card as a reminder that sometimes it is necessary to ask for help, that I do not need to face my problems alone (which I have a tendency to do--pull back, isolate myself). Although I am protected by the brick walls I have built around myself, I am very much alone and unhappy... 6--The Nine of Disks (Gain) in the position of Psychic Gifts....very nice!!! This card happens to be very special to me, I consider it my true significator card (and it has been coming up for me a lot lately!). In this card I see a beautiful scene, a purplish, sunset sky and a woman walking away with two men on either side of her. She feels safe, protected, loved...there is a message here of feeling comfort among friends, which is slightly different than the usual depiction of this card as a single, independent woman. This card is telling me, again, that I do not need to feel alone, that I have support all around me, if I am not afraid to access it. I also feel that my psychic gifts are meant to be shared with others, that I am to develop and trust my intuition through helping people, and to rely on friends as I go through this process. 7--The Ace of Swords represents blessings and spiritual direction. The card shows a beautiful sword, with a blinding light being reflected from it. Some words: gratitude and inspiration. Perfect card for this final position...I definitely need to be grateful for so many wonderful things in my life. It is so easy to forget sometimes, getting caught up on what is wrong or missing from my life...need to remember to appreciate the good things and focus on my connection to Spirit. Daily meditation is one of the goals I have set for myself tonight...taking that time every day. Well.....*whew*.....that was very interesting!!! Hey lets not forget the Moon will be full for about 3 days - so we get to try different spreads too. And... it was cloudy here, so I am hoping my next spread will be done outside under the moonlight....

I've started a thread in Your Readings here: http://67.19.40.82/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28249 for those who wish to post. Yes, Moonbow, I'm all in favor of more readings/spreads for this moon. Unfortunately last nite was overcast/rainy here and I never saw the lovely moon. The last couple nites before, tho, were clear and the moon had a beautiful yellowish cast. It was huge and bright, but the yellow tinge muted the light, like the mellow difference between of an an incandescent light bulb compared to a flourescent one. Looking forward to your readings! Plus, I need a little help with mine :)
