Hi All!
About half of the last twenty spreads I have done for myself have ended the same way. In the final position of the spread (sometimes "future," sometimes "right action") will fall either the Prince or King of swords. Sometimes reversed (~60%), sometimes upright (~40%).
The repetition feels important, and I feel like I'm not getting whatever message is intended for me. Moreover, I'm having a hard time distinguishing why sometimes it's the king and other times the prince... I feel like the two are appearing together, but discerning their individual meanings in this context has been tough.
Any thoughts?
thanks!
David

David : Which deck are you using? I ask because I'm not sure when you say "prince" whether you mean the knight or the page.

...sometimes it's the king and other times the prince... It's not just what a card is that matters, its what it's not too.
Of all the possibilities, these cards have regularly appeared.
What is your primary motivation? Seek the answer within.

Swords often indicate that there might be something in your life that needs to be gotten rid of. Are there relationships, old feelings, etc that are no longer healthy and may be holding you back? If so, now would be the time to examine why they're still around and look into ways of setting aside what no longer serves you.
It seems as though a more objective viewpoint is what is required of you.

I agree with the above. And by doing so, you may transform yourself from a knight to a king?? Just a thought.
