Tarocchi Celtici Card 23 Ginestra; Ohn

Mi-Shell

Card 23 Ginestra; Ohn
Ace of Spring
The card features the Plant (Ginster/ Furze) in full bloom in the centre of the image.
In one of its branches we see a Robin! First sign of Spring.
Above a Fairy is touting an ornate horn, announcing the birth of the new season and with it the birth of the first lams.
In the background Bridget's fire is burning bright.
In the foreground we see a candle – symbolizing the modern name of the festival, Candlemas.
Next to the candle we see a small flock of Lambs, one being lovingly cradled in the arms of its shepherd, another Fairy.
this one wears a red hat with 2 bells. all Spring cards of this deck feature musical instruments that were used by the ancient Celts.
This composite image on a light green background emits a sense of peace and joyful expectation.Ohn is seen as being aware of the sweetness in life and of gathering moments of it in our memory.
Some teachings say, that Ohn is related to the Magpie, that gathers beautiful and shiny things , so I am wondering, why we are not seeing one on this card.
The Ogham symbol is in the right hand corner of each card in this deck
