A spread on reading

I found this interesting spread on assessing your tarot reading abilities and where you need to strengthen them.

How can I become a better tarot reader?
Using a linear spread:
Position 1: What I already do well -
Position 2: What I need to work on -
Position 3: External resources for improving -
Position 4: Internal approaches for improving -
Position 5: Overall advice

this looks like one right up my alley :) -- if i'm not too much of a beginner to read it correctly ;) -- thanks marion :)

is there a particular layout you use or just 5 cards straight across :)

autumn star

This is just the spread that I was looking for. I made up my own spread about this exact topic a while ago ... but it is a bit rough, this one is much better :)

inanna_tarot

Just giving this thread a bump because I really want to use this spread, but i'm too whacked to do it now.

Princess Judy

Super!
You could also use this for other things...
How can I become a ...
- better lover :D
- better mother
- better friend
- better teacher
- better ... (fill in profession)

Frannie

Princes Judy that's a great idea for a spread!! I will try that one out :D

raheli

This sounds like a great spread, I'm going to give it a try!
thanks

Scarlet Woodland

I've just tried this one out in a 5 pointed star formation with really interesting results...

I also added a sixth card in the center for "how good am I really at this point?"

That one's just for the brave ;)

Mabel

I have added this to my tarot study journal. What a great spread! This should be very enlightening and helpful. :)
Thanks for sharing.

Didn't notice the original date on this at first. This is a great looking spread, something I've been thinking about lately for my own tarot knowledge check. Scarlet Woodlands addition of "how good am I really?", Is the perfect starting point, particularly for the brave. I will cast this spread soon.
