I found this interesting spread on assessing your tarot reading abilities and where you need to strengthen them.

How can I become a better tarot reader?
Using a linear spread:
Position 1: What I already do well -
Position 2: What I need to work on -
Position 3: External resources for improving -
Position 4: Internal approaches for improving -
Position 5: Overall advice

I was also thinking about using it as a more general spread to assess abilities, for example, assessing how I'm doing at work.
