The second reminds me of the Wheel, of course. The position of the devil's body is so similar to the tower; odd that he is sharing the wheel with an angel, who I assume is Fortune? I'm not sure I've seen her represented like this before.
The character holding the huge die is wonderful. Do you know what the character beside him is doing? Astrology?
On the world we have what looks like a pope or popess.
Like the links that kwaw provided, the images you provide also show a strong connection to fortune telling.
Interesting the use of dice here, with the 21 possible combinations, or the connections to the hours in the day.
I love the last one from Michael's site. Of course, to see Le Pendu outside of Tarot is a rare treat!! Do we have any idea who's chart that is? It reminds me of something I took a picture of at Oxford when I visited, at Christ Church.
