5 of Pentacles + 3 of Wands (clarifier)

Hi all!

I know that the 5 of pentacles can mean rejection, difficult times, being left out in the cold, etc.. But when the 3 of wands comes up as a clarifier, does this mean moving past difficult times? Or am I reading this incorrectly?

Something that these cards have in common is looking up and towards a higher aspiration, a focus on what one doesn't have and is waiting for. Pretty much if you want to change your situation, you have to have the vision and desire for something better as your focus and then do something about it.
