Cupid's Heart
Love This Post!
I went out with a man about 3 years ago that was the seven of swords incarnate... His favorite color happened to be yellow... lol
In the beginning of our relationship, I kept getting this card for him. I didn't see the qualities of this card in his behavior, until later in the relationship. This man would play a diplomat in order to get his way, a master manipulator. I call this the "lone wolf" card. Everything he did was done so that he could get his way, while underhandedly manipulating you into thinking that he was a great guy. This person never confronted issues directly, and if I brought up something he didn't want to discuss, he would run away or do whatever he could to avoid the situation.
A coward? Most definetely. Yellow like a chicken. He was very smart, but used his smarts to avoid direct confrontation, instead he would have his own agenda and sneak behind the scenes to get his agenda met. You wouldn't know it until it was too late ( you noticed the swords were gone). I also heard he stole money from his family's restaurant, and he frequently lied.
Just a story to let you in on my personal experience with a 7 of swords personality. I don't ever read this as being good, and don't know of any context to read it positively in, unless you are the person in the card getting away with it...

I'm not to saying the individual isn't intelligent or is lacking in the resources to communicate effectively, but somehow chooses not to assert himself in that way. Easier to manipulate, play mind games, the coward's way, instead of being direct and upfront.
