So the woman in the Star doesn't represent the Querent at all. She represents the star itself, and she's pouring new life into the querent's body (the earth) and mind (the pool).

Very nice Four Leaf Clover! If you think of the Star as the Universe, or the power of psy. Then this is an allegory for psychic vision. The energy of the world pours into us, and we pour it out into the world--and some back to the Orgin.
