Chariot as a 'Want'

GoddessArtemis

This comes up often in my readings: Chariot as what someone wants from me.

No, it's not that they want a ride! :p But what can someone want from me, if it's the Chariot? They want to control me? I don't really get it..

Maybe your full attention: heart and mind (2 horses that the chariot rides)

To present a clear purpose to them...to be more in control?

On the other hand it could mean they want you to be more spontaneous...able to make a desision on the spur of the moment...and just jump up and drop what you're doing to do something new with them.

Another possible interpretation is - they want you to work with them, to make up a good team, like the horses on the Chariot - not you going off in your direction alone, but trying to coordinate and interact with them.

Or, they want you to be tenacious and purposeful.

It would depend on if they see you as the driver or the method of propulsion (horses), or are they the driver or the method of propulsion (horses). Either way - the idea of movement is present.

This question reminded me of the classic Beatles song, Drive My Car:

Asked a girl what she wanted to be
She said baby, can't you see
I wanna be famous, a star on the screen
But you can do something in between

Baby you can drive my car
Yes I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I'll love you

I told that girl that my prospects were good
And she said baby, it's understood
Working for peanuts is all very fine
But I can show you a better time

Baby you can drive my car
Yes I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I'll love you

Beep beep'm beep beep yeah

Baby you can drive my car
Yes I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I'll love you

I told that girl I can start right away
When she said listen babe I got something to say
I got no car and it's breaking my heart
But I found a driver and that's a start

Baby you can drive my car
Yes I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I'll love you

The truth is, I never knew what that song meant. What are the Beatles really saying? :D

Maybe they want you to tell them what to do ?

Or maybe they want you to organize them and set them on their way ?

Maybe they want you to be responsible for how their life works out ?

Mellifluous

Possibly for you to be a leader.

The crowned one

I would see it as control over you or shared with you. it could be wants, needs emotions, anything depending on the reading. Another thought would be loyalty.
