cardlady22
2nd deck; Large Face
Easiest choice for the Zodiac is the Courts, like you mentioned earlier.
*cardinal, fixed, mutable - K Q J
Emperor - Aries, c
Hierophant - Taurus, f
Lovers - Gemini, m
Chariot - Cancer, c
Strength - Leo, f
Hermit - Virgo, m
Justice - Libra, c
Death - Scorpio, f
Temperance - Sagittarius, m
Devil - Capricorn, c
Star - Aquarius, f
Moon - Pisces, m
I'm playing with the idea of assigning a single suit to represent the Planets/Lights. 3-9?
*comparing to RWS imagery*
World - Saturn, 4
Wheel - Jupiter, 5
Tower - Mars, 7
Empress - Venus, 6
Magician - Mercury, 8
High Priestess - Moon, 9
Sun - Sun, 3
Which conveniently leaves Ace, Two & Ten in open for Element choices.
I still can't shake the cartomancy side of things with suits/elements personally. So, I'd probably use the Tens and assign to Fool, to Hanged Man, and to Judgment. That way it won't go weird against the grain of how the Minor Arcana suits are assigned since 10 isn't a single digit.
