Evacuation - which decks to take?

sapienza

I accidentally came accross this thread today when searching for something else. I thought I'd reply because only last night I was trying to think what my favourite five decks were....it changes often, but right now it would be...

Universal Waite (this is the one I'm working with just now)

My Mythic (first deck I ever owned and used it for years exclusively)

Robin Wood (I've altered my version quite a bit and borders all coloured black)

Haindl (only just got it second hand but there's something about it I just love)

Thoth (never use it any more but I love it all the same)

But....when I get my Alchemical Renewed the Thoth can burn!

My list changes every time someone posts a question like this.
Ha! Me too! I've changed my mine, after two and a bit months . . .

In no particular order; Hello, Tarot; Minute; Rohrig (trimmed); MerryDay; Babylonian. And I'd weep for weeks over the ones that had to stay behind :(

The Goose is Out Tarot
T: The New Tarot for the Aquarian Age
Flying Hearts Tarot
Large Swiss Thoth Tarot Box A
Large Walter Wegmüller Gipsy Tarot

These aren't necessarily my very favorite decks; they're five of the rarest decks I own and would be the most difficult to replace. Got to be practical about these things ;)

Personally, I'd make sure I'm wearing a good pair of shoes and some clothes ...

Thought I'd give this thread a little bump, and include my list. I've been giving it a lot of thought after my brief foray into Intensive Deck Study land. My five, in no particular order:

1. Universal Waite (ol' trusty)
2. Thoth (the one I go to when I need a challenge)
3. Universal Fantasy (the one that stretches my perceptions)
4. The Lunatic (the first deck I did serious readings with)
5. The oracle deck I made (do I need to explain this one? :p)

I actually had a lot of indecision over this, but honestly? If I had to pick, I would probably take my skull collection over my tarot decks. *ducks bricks* Decks can be replaced, but those skulls are one-of-a-kind!
