I've just had an offer to do a few evenings reading as a pro. Really looking forward to it but have no idea how much to charge for an evening of reading! (They have asked me to give them a price). Any help on that or any other tips for a first time pro reader would be much appreciated!

Hi, when I used to do night time readings about 8 years ago I charged £10, I was at a freinds the other night and the reader charged £20, but also there are readers who also tape the reading and leave the tape and they are between £12 - £15,lol have I confused you more?

Right, so about £20 a reading is good. Don't think I'll need to do taping. It's a corporate event so I'm thinking I'll be there more as entertainment than anything else (not great, but good practice). I guess I should be looking at around £100/£120 for the evening then...
