how to find out my year card?

hello everyone.
how can i find my year card and how it helps?
and how can it be important?
actually i have read this term at various places but was unable to find out more.
kindly help me.

Your year card would be the current year + your birthday OR the year of your last birthday + your birthday.

So, if your birthday was 12/13, then it might be 12 + 13 + 2008, or 12 + 13 + 2007, depending on which system you wanted to use. Then, simplified down to the first number under 21 (or 22, if you count The Fool as 22 and a part of it). In this example, it would be 25 + 2008 = 2033. 2 + 0 + 3 + 3 = 8, so Strength or Adjustment, depending on if you're using the RWS or Thoth system. Or it could be the same, but with 2007, because 12/13/2008 hasn't yet happened and the birthday hasn't occurred. In that case, it'd be 2032 or 7 (Chariot).
