Keeping tarot decks for sentimental reasons

I started another thread about reacquiring decks, because I've found I had to rebuy quite a few decks I got rid of in a misguided attempt to only keep the decks I used. But like Le Fanu says I had no idea what the years ahead would bring and found out some of the ones I traded or sold were ones I wanted (and use) now.

There are still a few that I would let go, but I'm much more picky about which ones I trade or sell. Even if I'm not using them now I might pull them out in the future......so most of them are staying with me.

As for the purely sentimental ones.....I do have a few of those. But they do get pulled out every now and again sometimes just to "pet". LOL So they will still get used....just not in spreads.

I think your intuition is serving you quite well... if only you'd listen to it.

The old chestnut of, 'When in doubt, leave it out', applies here.

You had no problem getting rid of the others-- bim, bam, boom, they're gone. But these few you are in doubt about... they are tugging at you. For whatever reason, they are still touching your heart, in effect saying, 'Don't go'... So, keep them for now.
