Kipper try

Bonny

Hi there,

I used the spread in this great YouTube clip:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VLEf2sqOKqM

And asked:

Why doesn't he reply to texts?

Results:

Line 1) marriage card, gaining a lot of money, main person (female), his thoughts, great happiness, main person (male)

Line 2) A journey, military person, a little child, sad news, prison, expectation

Line 3) Rich good gentlemen under 'expectation '

Line 1 and Line 2 matched up with cards directly under each other and the only card in line 3 was Rich good gentleman

My reading on this is:

He isn't replying because (and this is where I get stuck on whether to read in columns or rows)

Either

He is on a trip with his wife, winning money in a casino that he is not allowed to spend, and his wife has children with him. So the texts bring him great happiness that becomes embittering for himd as he knows he can't fulfil expectations.

The significant relationship between him and the Sitter is in a phase of a journey and that he has strict rigid rules around the use of his time and resources (gaining a lot of money?) , because the Sitter is naive about the imprisonment he feels and sadness in his thoughts that the great happiness is isolated. He is aware that the Sitter has expectations of seeing him within a short time and of him being ready to be single (Rich young man) so he doesn't reply.

Any suggestions?

Joon

Hi Bonny,

Just as a general note, it would be helpful if we all include which Kipper deck we've used for a spread, since the readings are so dependent on direction in these cards.

I googled "Kipper card Great Happiness" and the images that came up were from the Mystical Kipper, so my thoughts here are based on pics of that deck.

You refer to "he/him" and the Main Character 1 as that person. Is the sitter female - in which case she is MC 2?

Take the following with the understanding that 1) I am not familiar with this spread, and am reading the cards as I would read them; 2) I do not understand the logic behind the spread/am not familiar with master cards, so I'm flying a bit blind here.

Assuming Mystical Kipper, MC 1 and MC 2 face away from one another, so they are not seeing eye to eye or are not connecting at some level. She is looking for a [sudden] change (11 Win Lots) to their status of their relationship/connection (3 State of Marriage). He is looking in another direction, but we don't see what he is looking toward.

So, short answer, he is not replying to texts becuase they are not on the same wavelength at this time.

More info about his motivation for not replying to come from cards around him. Is he a business person (13 Rich Good Gent below MC 1)? is their connection to do with business or something else?

I'd want more context before trying to read further.

(and this is where I get stuck on whether to read in columns or rows

To this, I would read the cards in relationship to each other (columns, rows, distance, etc) as in any spread, because that is how the cards work to refine meaning and expand information.

Hi Joon!

Thank you so much for this!

It IS the mystical kipper - well done!

You are right about the main characters... when you say what is he looking towards, there isn't anything on the other side of him. So there is literally only the table I put the cards out on that he is looking towards.

The cards between them are 'His thoughts' and 'great happiness'.

They are in the same row.

Sorry I tried to upload a photo of this but sometimes it doesn't work and it didn't this time.

Thanks again,

Bonny :)
