Less than 3 Cards?

Two card draws make perfect sense to me. There's interaction galore. But they have been overshadowed by one card "pulls" and three card draws.

I use a 2-card spread which is;

card 1; the situation. Card 2; where it's going. Someone here (bodhran?) christened it the "Pause, Fast Forward spread."

From peronal experience anything less than four paints only a monochrome picture.
