The Ceccoli Tarot is just stunning; if I buy only one new deck this year it will be that one. I love it so much! It's wonderfully creepycute. It has this great dream-like atmosphere. There's something about the way it feels that reminds me of one of my favorite paintings, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Dorothea Tanning. Lovely. When it goes up on Amazon I'm going to try and preorder it.
Still not sure if I want the Silver Witchcraft and/or the Sacred Feminine. They both remind me strongly of BoS As Above, a deck I can read with but isn't one of my absolute favs. I'll probably wait until it comes out and other people start sharing pictures before I make up my mind.
The Tarot of the Nymphs doesn't speak to me at all, but I'm kind of appalled at how these women are being compared to strippers and pornstars! While it is disappointing to see yet another deck filled with barely covered women, I didn't see anything pornographic or provocative about their poses. Their bodies look rather natural to me - no globular basketball boobs, no broken backs to display their butt and breasts at the same time, no massive cleavage with no support, nothing. Out of the five cards shown not one of the women is even acknowledging the "camera", never mind posing sexily for it. If just kind of standing or sitting around in little clothes makes you look like a pornstar then I guess I look like a pornstar every time I step out of the shower. :/ Now the rest of the deck could prove me totally wrong, but that is certainly not the vibe I am getting from the cards shown.
