I have them and they are beautiful in a very rustic homemade way.
The card stock is like that thick card stock paper you can get at office supply stores...it isn't real card stock.
And they are not laminated.
For heavy use I think you would want to laminate them...I keep mine in a small photo album.
They come in a sturdy little lift cover box.

I think I'm going to laminate mine this week too...been meaning to I've had them for years..but this week I'm on it like a monkey on a cupcake...
I think I'll round the corners too.
